(Words and art by Tommy Kovac Published by Slave Labor Graphics)
Created by yet another self-confessed goth, this is set in a playroom. A doll wakes up and can't remember how he got there. The poor little guy doesn't even remember his own name. Everything seems intent on attacking him, even the other dolls who he remembers were his friends once. Help comes in the guise of the friendly foul-mouthed Sock-Monkey, previously a star of his own comic. In fact, without all the cussing, this comic would be pretty good kiddie-fodder. Well, without that swearing and the camp, but terrifying puppets who attack the little doll at the end of this issue. Frankly, I'm not so sure about this one. I'm not so impressed with the artwork and the story seems a little flimsy. Maybe I should read another issue before passing judgement, though.
